once upon a time i ran the rex lee run. my shoes were just a tiny bit too small and for some reason, i chose to wear thick socks, making the shoes even smaller. after the race i took a shower and got ready for the day and noticed the tip of my toe was a little sore and red. no big deal, i thought. well, later that day, i noticed something strange. a blister had formed on the tip of my toe where no one else could even get a blister but since my toenail is so very odd (and non-existent), i could and i did.
[it got weirder looking than this... sorry you can barely see it.]
i let it heal and everything was going smashingly. then saturday (yesterday) i was getting ready and accidentally knocked over my tiny strawberry plant pot and it landed directly on my toe. [side note: sorry mom and kendle. i couldn't make them grow. :(] so now, i have blister remains and a new lovely blood blister, all on a place where everyone else would have a nail, but i just have a very sensitive toe tip apparently.

Oh, sad! I have always hated my big toes and know the feeling. At least it's a legitimate WOUND and not gross "mosaic warts" like I dealt with last year... ;) I'm just glad you photo-documented this for me.
aaahhhhh!!! First and foremost, props to you for even documenting this event. Because if I had your toes....well... you know. I love how everything was going smashingly and then it smashed your toe. ;) Seriously sorry though. Because that is GROSS!
If it makes you feel any better, I have a wicked huge blister on my baby toe. It might even be bigger than my actual toe. It's a beast, I tell you. I hate my baby toe the way you hate your big toe. We should start a funky toe club! :)
p.s. where is your countdown?? I keep losing track of the days until you come home! And that's not something I want to forget!
whoa. thats the coolest thing ive ever seen!
ps... im sad your strawberries didnt work for you!! :(
kendle's strawberrries are growing like crazy. She has 4 full grown strawberries. But she'll blog them today.
Sorry about your toe. To be fair--you totally get them from your DAD.
Love you! 35 days and counting!
10 till Kendle's with you.
