festival of colors

saturday was a dang busy day. i woke up early (well, before 9am) and finished studying for my last o chem midterm. then i walked up to campus and took a two hour test, and right as i was walking back, a bunch of my friends were leaving to go to festival of colors. i ran inside, changed my clothes and we were on our way to spanish fork, utah. (just a quick story... i always get spanish fork and american fork mixed up. i know one is south and one is north of provo but i never can remember. on our trip down, we came up with a way to remember. spanish fork is closer to mexico! anyway, we thought it was clever...)

so it took forever to get there. traffic was bad and we had to park a million miles away. but we got there and it was tons of fun! as soon as you start inhaling the stuff, it's not so fun... (i may have had purple boogers too...)

then we drove back to provo, took the fastest showers possible (while still getting somewhat clean). when all of the chalk was coming off, the showers smelled so bad. i hadn't realized we smelled like that. gross. then we headed out to cedar hills for a hall party at my ra's house. we made s'mores and it was tons of fun. then we got back and i remembered i had to prepare a lesson for the next day... whoops. i got it done and was completely exhausted by midnight when i went to bed.

but it was all worth it :)
