Hare Krishna

Happy Festival of Colors everyone! It's widely celebrated around here. Ironic right? I live in Utah. hahaha. Anyway, we definitely went to the Festival of Colors again this year and it was better than last year! The chalk tastes disgusting, it's hard to breath [side note: has anyone seen the CSI: New York episode where the Native American tribal leader was killed, they did an autopsy, his lungs were all crazy colored, and they figured out he had been to a Festival of Colors? No? Well, that's what my lungs look like right now :)] and everyone around you is being crazy, but it is TONS of fun. It took a 30 minute shower and washing my hair three times to get it out [and even then, my scalp was still pink] but it was so worth it.

PS- I'm still getting chalk out of my ears every morning. :)

Back in P-town

Last Sunday my roommate, Kate, and I decided to drive home for the weekend for Nicole's bridal shower, and boy oh boy I'm sure happy we did. It was an AWESOME weekend!

[Mom, Me, Nicole, Kendle, Adrian, Kate]

Kendle and Mom and Adrian (but mostly Kendle) put on an AMAZING bridal shower for Nicole. It was the cutest thing ever. Ever. But we kind of forgot to take pictures of the rest of the weekend. We went to the Baker's for corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day. We went to Eegee's and got an eegee and ranch fries [mmmmm....:)]. We played with the puppy and the Hayley. We watched a lot of basketball. We had some fan-freaking-tastic Mexican food at El Molinito. We enjoyed 80+ degree weather. And I had the best time ever with my family. I sure love them!

Now I'm back in Provo [for less than a month :)] and I'm back to wearing boots and a coat. It's supposed to snow today, but it's ok though because I just had the best weekend ever and I go home again in 30 days!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

I love you, Dad, and want you to know,
I feel your love wherever I go.
Whenever I've problems, you're there to assist,
The ways you have helped me would make quite a list.

Your wisdom and knowledge have shown me the way,
And I'm thankful for you as I live day by day.
I don't tell you enough how important you are,
In my universe you're a bright shining star.

Bored

I should be studying or doing something else productive, but I'm just bored. Bored and tired. So I decided to start a little countdown.

41 days or
984 hours or
 59,040 minutes or
3,542,400 seconds
until I come home!!

By the way, we have blue skies and 54* right now!! (I know... it's 87* in Tucson today, but this is exciting for me, ok?)
